Biography

Through the adventurous spirit of her parents, Marion Fischer emigrated from Germany to Canada with her family at a young age and grew up in Kingston, Ontario.

Marion attended Queen?s University where she received her Bachelor of Nursing Science, Bachelor of Fine Art, and Bachelor of Education.

Over the years, she has lived in many regions of northern and southern Ontario and has carried out a number of professional roles. Her work experience ranges from clinical nursing to public health nursing, to teaching science, photography and art at the secondary school level. No doubt a confluence of life long factors have steered her toward the decision to paint full-time. It was the enthusiasm and creative energy shared with students and the steadfast support and encouragement of family that was the greatest inspiration for the last step.

Marion currently lives and works in Chelsea, Quebec.
